Theresia Bacher must be the most enthousiastic lady chef of the whole of Austria. She cooks in her “rauch keller” on a very old stove and tosses in giant, cast irion pans huge amount of food in the air as if it’s nothing. We are back in glorious Salzburgerland to visit Theresia in her restaurant with rooms Schwaigerlehen.
Again, it is like stepping back in another world. The house inside is dark, cosy and it smells like open fire and a mix of freshly picked meadow flowers. Theresia is quite a character and her food is hearty, real and pure!
