Thea Parikos is Ikarian with an American accent. For the rest she is 100 % Greek. She runs Thea’s Inn a sweet little, Med-facing taverna with rooms in the hamlet of Nass. When the Nat Geo team was doing research about the longevity on Ikaria and the fact that the island might be a Blue Zone, she hosted and helped them, probably introduced them into the community of Ikaria. Apart from the fact that Thea is the person to talk to if you want to know more about the whole Blue Zone concept, she also serves great food. Her lady chef Athina uses all the local ingredients that probably contributes to a long and healthy life.
