While we are having lunch at our bush suites at Okonjima Lodge, some giraffe, warthogs and Oryx come drinking from the water hole just in front of the lodge. We are definitely in Africa and Namibia. The wonderful thing about Okonjima Lodge is that it’s linked to the AfriCat Foundation. You can combine learning and observing wild cats with relaxing and well, doing noting. Okonjima has different accommodations from the camping sites, to the main lodge, the more luxurious bush camp, to our bush suites and the villa. Depends on your budget and style. We were so lucky to be hosted at the bush suite with private pool, own staff and lots of space and privacy. I would really recommend to stop here if you are driving from lets say Windhoek en route to Etosha National Park or vice versa. Learn about AfriCat and experience how it is to stay in a lodge that is family-run. We loved it!
