We stayed in many, many safari camps in countries like Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Congo, Rwanda,… but let me tell you that this Wolwedans Private Camp is a true gem. The house has 2 bedrooms separated by a lounge and kitchen. In front there is a water hole (no, not for you to swim in, a plunge pool is in the making) where animals like gemsbok, kudu, zebra and springbok come to nip and bath. From the back of the house and from the front you get uninterrupted views over the NamibRand planes. Who needs aircon is the house is built in a way that the wind always blows through it and the sun never shines directly in the rooms. And then of course you get your private chef and butler. A heavenly breakie, a light lunch after a morning exploring, then some siesta time on the daybeds,… I am sure there are much more luxurious bush villas in Africa but this Wolwedans private camp is a real hidden gem. Plus you get value for your money. For around 280 euro per person a night, all in, this is a steal. Believe us!
