Not only canned sardine paste but also fish by the kilo in this wonderful, rather secret small restaurant in Alcacar do Sal. O nene is a local’s favorite where, before sitting down, you have to choose what fish you want and how much. I went for the espada, a local type of swordfish. In this case grilled with lots of garlic, coriander and olive oil. truly, one of the best lunches I had in my whole life.Â We will be going back.
