Tim McLeod has been living for over 14 years in Iqaluit. He’s originally from Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, where we accidentally are heading next. He already made our Arctic day by offering us a bottle of Captain Morgan after we met each other on the plane from Ottawa to Iqaluit. He must have felt sorry for us when seeing our faces when hearing that Pond Inlet is a dry town. Thanks to Tim and Captain Morgan we could at least warm up on the ice while camping. Now we are in Iqaluit and Tim shows us around in his oversized truck. How a warm hearted man like Tim can survive in a cold place like Iqaluit is a mystery… It must be that Scottish blood!
